After stripping all the old sound deadening tar off the floor pans, it was evident that it also acted as a moisture trap for the recessed parts of the panels. The driver's side rear pan half had a hole in it from rust so I cut it all out and modified a bug panel to fit. |

Then I had to refit the seat rails, the previous owner had drilled out every weld through both pieces of metal so it was a lot of work to fit them back into the original positions, plug welding as I went! Next job is to strip the pan and repaint using POR-15. |

The rear torsion beam assembly stripped and painted and trial fitting of the seats before the top half of tha pan is stripped and painted. |

You can just about make out the new fuel line I fitted. 8mm bore in anticipation of a bigger engine, the stock line will become the return to tank. |

Pedals re-fitted I didn't strip the central tunnel as it was so good, a bonus is being able to keep all the stock insulation. |
