As it arrived at my house. Post encounter with a Focus at the hands of thieves.

Unique rear bumper design on this one incorporating single exhaust tip and diffuser.

Honda V6 engine. Plenty of space behind for an extra storage compartment

The damaged bit! New body section and screen will be grafted in and a respray. I really dislike this colour!!!

New section of chassis will be made along with new wishbones

Interior just needs a good tidy and new stereo system with an Alpine/Momo steering wheel.

Nice sculpted roof liner

Trimmed well in leather and alcantara so I can't justify replacing it.

Plenty of space behind the seats

Doors off to assess the damage

Door hinge post has broken away from outer skin, should be easy enough to bond to new body section.

Broken part of body now removed, once the dash is taken out the repair should be quite easy to access...

dash removed to enable better access to bulkhead, heater has been damaged

most complicated part of repair

3 separate panels meet here, outer skin, inner tub and scuttle panel.

Underside of dash showing heater ducting

Screen took some getting out! It was glued in place with a band of glue up to 60mm wide in some places. After making a tool similar to what windscreen fitters use I was having no luck so out came a chisel and hammer which was far more successful, including covering everything in glass shards!

Screen out and aperture cleaned up

Here you can see the main area of repair, the scuttle section looks separate.

Heater controls which I believe are from a Fiat cinquecento to match the heater. I will try to find alternatives to replace them.

I will resculpt the door panel for some Phoenix Gold component speakers.

Here's the damaged corner's suspension as removed. Everything will be stripped back and new wishbones fabricated.

I also plan on a new centre console which will sweep through the interior in one piece.
