First holes drilled! The wishbones are built up first and assembled to their brackets. One hole is drilled for each bracket and then these are used as a jig to drill the remaining holes.

Fully built up with the AP Racing brakes which will be more than up to the job of stopping such a lightweight machine!

Rear wishbone brackets fitted to the tub, these were a real pain to get in as the other side of the panels were blind and in closed sections of the monocoque. I had to slightly enlarge the access holes as there wasn't a small person about to help me!

Rear wishbones fitted up along with rear dampers and their top mounts.

Finally the tie rods were fitted. The rear hubs don't go on until the engine is in and the driveshafts are fitted.

Pedal box plate modified with extra holes for MGF master cylinder.

The lower left corner bolt is positioned right where several panels meet so instead of drilling and weakening the structure I tapped a hole.

Master cylinders fitted...

...and then pedals! They are all supplied with the kit and replace the Metro ones

Here you can see the pedal support brace in the foreground

Finally the steering column is mounted. I think the designers of this kit were tiny as I am having real difficulties getting access inside the closed sections of the body to do up nuts...

Rear rigid lines are now in, as is the engine frame

Heat proofing the firewall from the exhaust header

Front rigid and flexi hoses fitting, bit of tidying up still to do with them but at least the main line is securely clipped inside the tunnel.
